How would a temporary job affect my unemployment rate?

I was laid off from a full time job and now am currently claiming unemployment, over $300 a week. If I were offered a temporary job that would only last one month, would it affect my unemployment rate when I started claiming again after getting laid off from that temporary job?
I live in Ohio.

It depends on your state laws. Some states even temporary work, qualifies for cut-off from unemployment checks.

u would have to let the government known, however, they would still issue money, pro-rated for that month, and regularly the following months. basically, u would be saving them money for 1 month and as long as you claim it that’s a good thing.

plus it shows that you’re willing to work…

No UI is based on the quarters (back one year) before you became unemployed to establish how much you are eligible for. If next year, about this time plus one month, you are still unemployed, then the quarter that you are referencing now would be a consideration to consider continued eligibility or extended benefits.
