How long before graduation should you start a job search?

Two months before graduation I started my job search and I havent heard back from anyone in two weeks. I wonder if they can’t hire me because I haven’t graduated yet.
But I want to get a job before I graduate. Should I start looking one month before I graduate or is it a waste of time.

I started like a month before I graduated. It does take about a week or two for the employer to call you back but if it takes longer then that then maybe you didn’t get the job and I would apply somewhere else. You not graduating yet doesn’t mean you didn’t get the job I don’t think that has anything to do it with it at ALL unless they looking for a full time person. P.S apply at more then just one job
two months is good time to start. i have always given myself two months to find any new job (even across different countries) and i have never ever been out of work ever since i graduated.
it also depends on which country or your job field or how the economy is doing there. is hard times in many places, so even fresh graduates can’t be as picky as say a fresh graduate from two years ago when everything was still booming and bright…
