How do I deal with a pen name when submitting writing samples for a job?

I need a few writing samples for a job I’d like to apply for and I have plenty; the only problem is that they’re all written under a pen name. Do I add a mention in my resume and these samples that they were written by me “as so-and-so” or is this a bizarre authorship gray area?
