What is the best way to job search?

The economy sucks and I have been looking for jobs online, in the paper, word of mouth,staffing agencies, etc. What are some of the best sites? How do you search for jobs? Do you walk in or call the place you are interested in? HELP! I am getting so frustrated!

Girl, you are not the only one. I am so pissed too. I have been applying every which way and cannot get a response. I am finding out that if you aren’t willing to accept nearly minimum wage, you are gonna get passed up. I have 10 years experience, college degrees, excellent references and a very professional looking resume and I use to be able to get a job very quickly, no problems. Not now. Just getting the run around. If you see the posting “Is this right?” you will be able to see the stunt an agency is pulling on me. It really sucks and I have no idea what would be the best way then what you are already doing.
