They are hiring their holiday staff and I have an interview this coming week…I know to dress in a dress casual and to have knowledge on their products. I’ve only had two other jobs and one year of college…is it necessary to bring a resume for a job like this and with little experience? Another question is will they expect me to give them a tutorial of their products and try to sell them to the employees….I’m a little apprehensive about that. Thanks

coming from the queen of seasonal retail jobs-resume optional. since ur experience is extremely limited, u must rely on a killer interview to seal the deal…after u’ve been doing such jobs for more than 2 years, then u might wanna consider drawing up a resume…good luck! i luv b&b works! :) oh yeah, and they don’t expect anything from u that they haven’t trained u on..don’t panic
I’m not sure what a “dress casual” is, but I would recommend business casual. slacks and a blouse, skirt, whatever.
I would definitely recommend bringing a resume. That way, you can provide them with information they may not ask or remember from an interview. It’s also a quick and easy way to give them your personal and professional references.
As far as demoing products, if you use them, like them, or just know about them, it should be a breeze!
Good luck!!
I would take a resume. This makes you look professional and that you are interested in the position. I think you will make a great sales person, especially since you already know about their products. Make sure you tell them that also.
