When it comes to careers, there is a whole world of possibilities out there. You just have to have a systematic approach toward the job hunt and you can easily come up with a profession that is the most suitable for you. The main reason why many people often get stumped with what they should choose as a profession is that they are just not aware of the opportunities that are available in this competitive world. In the last few years, with the rapid growth and advancements in almost every field, many new employment opportunities have emerged, which were not available a few years back. Following is a brief rundown on some of the possible options that you may like to look into.

   Forensic Accountant

   If you love Mathematics, careers in accounting can be highly lucrative for you. In the field of accounting, there are different career paths that you can choose from, where each option has its own focus and specialty. For example, based on your specific interest and hobbies, you may like to consider working as a forensic accountant. Your job profile as a forensic accountant will be to investigate financial crimes that may include contract disputes, money laundering, embezzling, and other such things. However, you will have to undertake some law courses also along with the accounting qualifications in order to be eligible for this profession. Other options include controller (in charge of an accounting department), Certified Public Accountant (to audit financial information for public companies), and bookkeeper and general accountant.

   Court Reporter

   Careers in court reporting can also be highly rewarding. It offers you stability, as there will always be demand for court reporters unless the world goes through complete anarchy. However, since it is a specialized field, it does not suit everybody. It is a big responsibility, as you will have to make a verbatim record of legal proceedings without any mistake. You may also have to provide closed captioning for those people who have hearing-related problems. Here again, you can choose from an array of different career paths. For example, you can work on a freelance basis. The advantage of working as a freelance reporter is that you can prepare the transcripts at your home, but you will obviously have to attend the depositions first. If you are looking for a full time office job, you may like to consider the option of working as an official reporter.

   Massage Therapists    
   
   Careers in the field of massage therapy have also seen tremendous growth in the last few years. So, if you love helping people, it can be a nice employment option for you. However, in order to ensure a stable career in this field, you are strongly recommended to get yourself certified first. There are huge opportunities for certified massage therapists. Though any graduate can jump into this field with a short-term course in massage therapy, but those who have graduated from an accredited massage school surely get highly rewarding opportunities. Things can be much better if the school is also coded by NCBTMB (the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massages and Bodywork).

   You just have to spend some time and systematically look into the different options available in different field of careers and you should not have any difficulty in choosing something that you will love to do the rest of your life.
