One of the things that frustrate people about job hunting most is that it takes so long to find the perfect opportunity.  This job search lead time can vary widely, lasting for as little as a week to as long as two years or more.  Because of this, it is very difficult to predict just how long it will take job seekers to find the jobs they want. 

  Literally hundreds of other factors make lead time one of the biggest unknown quantities of a career change.  With the economy in its current state, there are job seekers of high quality that are trapped in a situation where the job search lead time can be long.   

  When I was looking for job last year I asked my friends in the same field to get a sense of time it took for them. Later on when my friends where looking for a job they started to ask me for the time it took me to get a job and for some tips I used to get the job. That prompted me to quickly develop a secret web site to me and my friends and keep the data in a centralized location where thousands of people around the world can come in like a community and share their lead time.

 We initially wanted to keep this site among our close friends. How ever due various  reasons my  fiends had to share this site to their  fiends and their fiends told others and today our secret site has grown much outside  of my our friends  circle.
