Has anyone ever gotten a call back from those job search sites?

My boyfriend and I have filled out several applications on these type of sites and I was just wondering if it was useless to do this or not. We are almost desperate for a job because we just moved so please help.

    By “those job search sites” I assume you mean like careerbuilder.com and monster.com?

    These are valid sites, and when I was job hunting, I did get a few interviews through there. From what I understand, the company I currently work for also sources through monster.com.

    I’ve gotten a call back before..

    However, I filled out three or four apps and only one called.

    See if you can find a local job fair or something (unless you’re looking for something specific or professional).
    If you just need a job, thats a good place because it’s full of people LOOKING for employees.

    I have a few times form careerbuilder and hotjobs. But no other sites.Especially snagajob..THOSE JOBS ARE USUALLY OUTDATED OR NOT EVEN VALID.
