I’ll be a senior in the Fall, and I’ll be graduating in the spring with a triple major, and two minors. I have also been very heavily involved on campus in student organization/greek life, as well as maintained a job throughout my college experience. So, I was wondering if anyone knew of a good resume template that could highlight these well. A lot of the ones I’ve seen don’t seem very oriented towards this sort of thing. Thanks for you help!
I guess I should also mention that this resume is in regards to applying to graduate programs–specially in a social psychology field, where my majors were Psychology, Sociology and Gender Studies. And I’ve done all this in four years–i didn’t stay extra time to attain these.

Sorry, a triple Major and two Minors is not impressive. It makes employers wonder about your focus. You should have got a Master’s in the same time.

Psychology, Sociology and Gender Studies.
Three worthless majors.
You really could use any resume format – there’s no one perfect resume style. You can do it however you want, it’s just that it needs to follow a pattern (especially if you have multiple schools) and needs to be easy to read. I would just adapt the section for the school you’ll be graduating from. Are you getting multiple degrees, or do you just have multiple majors? There’s a difference in how to list them.
If it’s multiple majors, I’d try something like this:
Degree Name and Program in bold font (Graduation year)
Majors in Program 2 & Program 3, Minor in Minor 1 & Minor 2
University Name, City, State
Honors
Sample:
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, May 2009
Majors in Sociology & Economics, Minor in Spanish & Art
Pennsylvania State University, State College, Pennsylvania
Graduated Cum Laude with GPA of 3.55 on 4.0 scale, Honors in Psychology
If you’re actually getting multiple degrees, it is better to highlight the fact that you’ve obtained multiple degrees from the same institution
Sample:
Pennsylvania State University, State College, Pennsylvania
Bachelor of Science Psychology, Bachelor of Arts Sociology, & Bachelor of Arts Economics (May 2009)
Minors in Spanish & Art
Graduated Cum Laude with GPA of 3.55 on 4.0 scale, Honors in Psychology
It can get bulky, but what you want to really highlight is the degrees you obtained, hence the emphasis on the ONE degree in sample 1 and the emphasis on the THREE degrees in sample two. I’m thinking you probably will use sample one since most schools don’t offer more than just a dual degree. If you haven’t graduated yet, put “degree expected [month and year]“, not the year by itself.
