Speaking out about the excuse making of a recent law school graduate who doesn’t seem to get that there is one employer that will always hire you, in spite of anything going on with the economy, IF you are willing to work for that employer. That employer is YOU. Obviously this is not ex President Bush speaking nor are you supposed to be stupid enough to believe it is, this is me. I speak from experience. At 18 in a strange new city with no family in the area I had to figure it all out and make it on my own. One of my first jobs was in telemarketing. If I didn’t sell anything I didn’t earn anything. So I sold. Another part time job was in selling advertising. No sales, no pay. So I sold. Then I got a job selling a food product on the street. Again, no sales, no pay. So I sold. I branched out and started my own business with what I’d learned from each of these jobs. I soon had a number of people working for me and was involved in multiple businesses before I was 21. In some ways the opportunities are even better today than they were then (though that was MANY years ago). With so many people out of work and saying that there are NO jobs out there, you could easily get people to work for you IF you will be more industrious than they are. OPPORTUNITYISNOWHERE!
