I’m currently an assistant in an industry I never really imagined myself in. I have a bachelors in business, but I’m not all that sure what I want to do with it, if anything. I’m basically just looking for some intense career guidance. I know the most common thing you should do is to think about what you enjoy doing, but even now from being stressed and unmotivated I’m not sure what that is anymore. I’m trying to tough it out as best I can because let’s face it, student loan bills have to be paid back. :)
Does anyone have any non-typical advice to give? The answer to me will not come through a website I have to pay to use so please do not provide any. I’m really trying to think outside of the box on this one since I consider it a very valuable part of my life. Any help or any advice that ANYONE can give is extremely appreciated.

Psychologists have invented a whole series of scientifically validated tests that are designed to tell you a) what areas you have an aptitude for b) what careers suit your personality and c) what you would be happy doing.
As you might expect, these tests aren’t available online, and usually they aren’t cheap. However, most community colleges have trained professionals who will do the complete battery of tests at greatly reduced rates for students. They usually offer the same tests, at slightly higher rates, to the public.
Spending a little time and money can literally save you years of floundering in the wrong career.
Deciding what career to persue is too important a decision to be left to chance, so my advice would be to spend the money to take the tests. The good news is, your degree can be used in almost any field.
