Question by pazuzusjc: How do I write a cover letter for a job I am doing as a temp?
I have been temping at a position that is being offered permantly and full time. I still need to submit my resume and a cover letter, but do I mention that I am currently doing the job? Do I mention it at all? I am really not sure what to say. Help!

    Absolutely mention it! It puts you ahead of the others who’ve never done the position. Talk about what your strengths have been in the position– what you have contributed, how great your attendance has been, how you’ve quickly learned all of the relevant tasks/jobs and are ready to commit to the company/job 100%.

    Yes, mention it! Also mention your supervisors name and add his phone number.
    Say something like:

    “I have been contracted to temporaly fill this position and would be interested in discussing a full time position. I have excelled at doing this and that. Please contact my supervisor to discuss the benefits I have already brought to the company and how I may continue to grow within the organization.”
