I was hired to work part-time, flexibile hours (17.5 hours/week). At the end of each week I advise my boss of my work schedule for the following week. I have been doing this for over 3 years. My boss is now trying to set me on regular work schedule requiring me to work certain days/hours each week, so therefore, my hours are no longer flexible. If I quit my job, would I have grounds to collect unemployment?

I’m a teenager living in Canada trying to get an after-school job. I have very little working experience, mainly babysitting, but do have some volunteer experience. I’m also trying to post flyers in my neighbourhood about dog walking services. Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

If you are trapped working in a company that changed many good practices to adverse ones, when is the right time to complain?

Sometimes, I read in some books or people saying that if you have complaints or anything against your employer’s policies you have to resign or leave the company first because that is showing no loyalty to your employer.

A friend that i have known since grade school is collecting unemployment, and no intention of finding another job. she is getting this money for a year and she is planning to work under the table also. while she was working i watched her infant son mon-fri and she is not a good mom at all. she would rather leave her son with anyone and go out and drink than anything else. i dont what i should do if i should anything. any advice?

I just received an email from a recruiter at JobNab. I never heard of this job search website, how legit are there? They claim that they can guarantee you a job. Seems a little bogus to me – too good to be true.
